Erin Spicer, EZ Street Sales
Erin_WittWhen CASI partnered with Florida-based cold asphalt company EZ Street® in 2008, we welcomed Erin Spicer to the CASI family as Midwest and West Coast Sales Manager for EZ Street® and CASI. When she’s not traveling to municipalities for potential buyers in other states, she’s at our Commerce City headquarters overseeing bagging, distribution, production, and other aspects related to EZ Street®. Born and raised in Nebraska (and still a diehard Huskers fan), Erin earned a business administration degree at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. She spent three years at the Denver firm Alpine Waste and Recycling before joining CASI. Her weekends and spare time are dedicated to fly fishing, running, hiking, traveling, and working out.

Clint Gasman, Estimator
Clint_GasmanEstimator Clint Gasman has been with CASI since the beginning. A native of Madison, Wisconsin with a background in architecture, Clint joined the company (then Colorado Seal & Stripe) as a paving crew foreman in the early 1980s. His 20 years as an estimator has led him to almost every alley and parking lot in Denver; it is the rare bid request that involves a property Clint has not seen before. Clint, a master of asphalt knowledge, has seen trends come and go and has always found it best to stick to his principles. Any bid he offers takes into account the best solution, not just the best price. His favorite part of his job? Meeting so many people and “seeing this beautiful state while I drive from site to site.” Plus, as Clint always says, “I’m my own grandpa”.

Mike Cozza, Estimator
Mike_CozzaMike Cozza, a native of Littleton, is one of the newest members of the CASI staff. He graduated from Colorado State University with a construction management degree. Although his official title is project estimator, Mike’s technical knowledge has earned him the role of in-house technical advisor to the CASI staff. A true Coloradan, Mike’s newest hobby is brewing beer. He’s also a fan of hockey, bowling in amateur leagues, golfing, and escaping to the mountains as much as possible. Mike and his wife, Jess, also enjoy working on their new home. Mike’s favorite car is the 1992 Mazda Miata.

Rob French, Estimator
Rob_FrenchAs a CASI estimator, Rob French bids on about 500 high-level projects per year, some at the $4-5 million level, and he’s an expert in asphalt mix designs. Originally from the Twin Cities, he’s called Colorado home for 20 years. His business management degree comes courtesy of Iowa State, and he spent the early years of his career in the health club industry, where his love of sports (“all except soccer,” he jokes) and fitness fit in nicely with his work at the Denver Athletic Club.

Ron Dreiling, Estimator
Ron_DreilingRon Dreiling came to CASI in 2009, bringing the same work ethic and team support he’d honed for 20 years as a Load Master at FedEx. Ron played soccer as a fullback through high school in Englewood and college at Denver’s Metropolitan State University, where he earned a criminal justice degree. As the father of two sports-playing kids, Ron now spends his weekends in the stands, watching hockey and softball games, baseball tournaments, and tennis matches. Ron loves holding little puppies.

Steve Hatch, Dispatcher/Scheduler/Project Manager
Steve_HatchTruck driver. Patch foreman. Paving foreman. Since 1983 Steve Hatch has paved his own way through CASI, all the way to his current position as Dispatcher/Scheduler/Project Manager. No one can go anywhere without Steve’s OK—he oversees scheduling of up to 80 people daily across all projects. In addition, Steve has served as the Project Manager for one of CASI’s largest accounts, the Denver Water Board, for more than 20 years.Michigan-born, Steve moved to Colorado in 1983 and drove an asphalt truck for a leasing company, at times working on CASI projects. He soon made that relationship permanent. Father of three and grandfather of two, Steve loves camping and hanging out with his family. And he may be a Coloradan now, but he will always be loyal to his hometown hockey team, the Detroit Red Wings.

Tom Dellenbach, Superintendent
Tom_DellenbackTom Dellenbach’s start at CASI was an auspicious one. It was Fourth of July weekend, 1983, and he was on his way to Colorado. “I hitchhiked my way from Bozeman, Montana to Denver with three large trash bags of clothes,” he said. “I started working with CASI that same week.”It’s fair to say that every time CASI accepts a compliment on its work, Tom had something to do with it. The Wisconsin native has been CASI’s superintendent for almost three decades, responsible for overseeing all asphalt paving and large projects—from parking lots to new roads. He’s adept at thinking on his feet in any asphalt situation; you can’t work with Tom and not respect him. His experience is part of the very foundation of CASI.While asphalt is his day job, sports and family are his life. The proud father of three athletes, Tom spends his free time “chasing kids,” running around town watching them play. His two sons play college-level sports, with a daughter soon to follow. He also finds time to camp, hunt, and fish with his family: “Luckily for me, we enjoy the same pastimes.”

Kathy Wood, Accounts Receivable Manager
Kathy_WoodWith almost 30 years of accounting experience, accounting manager Kathy Wood oversees invoicing, accounting, billing, and payroll. Her intricate knowledge of CASI’s receivables translates to thorough, efficient work that is appreciated throughout the CASI family. Kathy is a member of the National Association of Credit Management and is great with words as well as numbers—she also lends her skills proofreading CASI’s marketing materials and project briefs. Born and raised in Denver, Kathy is fiercely loyal to all of Colorado’s pro teams; if you don’t see her wearing a Broncos shirt, it must not be football season. Kathy is also very family-oriented, spending her free time with her husband and son, and considers CASI her “second family.”

Janice Hepp, Accounts Payable Manager
Janice_HeppLongtime Accounts Payable Manager Janice Hepp comes to CASI by way of Alamosa, a small town in the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado. For eight years she owned a fitness company, where she estimates she signed more than 5,000 certificates of completion for fitness classes and swimming lessons. Off the clock, Janice divides her time between attending Denver sporting events and spending time with her three grown children and five grandchildren, “the highlights of my life.”

Charlie Weeams, Truck Foreman
Charlie is a Denver, Colorado native and comes from a big family; two brothers and three sisters. He has been the leader of our truck drivers at CASI for 16 years. He also fills in for Steve, dispatching crews when Steve is away and operates the plant on emergency overnight occasions. Charlie served as an Airborne Ranger in the Army for seven years, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Charlie and his wife have four children, ages 24, 21, 18, and 8. Eight-year-old Charlie III keeps Charlie busy with football and superhero movies. When Charlie is not working hard for CASI, he likes to work on cars and trucks and spending time with his family. They enjoy camping and fishing in the mountains any chance they get. Charlie loves going on road-trips with his family, or by himself – whether it is for vacation or just to buy a Suburban in Nebraska. Even when he isn’t working, he still loves to cruise the highway!
